One option for using this website for asynchronous learning is to assign students to complete a single time period (T) module in the Students section and then plan a face-to-face discussion of the accompanying questions or post the questions in a discussion forum on a class LMS site and require students to answer.

We have found over numerous IPE events that allowing time for student introductions at the beginning of the activity is important for promoting student engagement, as well as an appreciation of the roles and responsibilities of the other health professionals on the team. We now use a very simple introduction and ask each team member to introduce themself by name and professional program, and to then state one thing they wish other health professionals or health professions students knew about their profession.
